Turning of your " Nay Sayer "
Making a direct intention to create or achieve something is always more effective if you can detach from the outcome.
Ever noticed how the things you are "STUCK" on are the things you keep working and working on creating, as far as affirmations and working with the Law of Attraction goes? That's because it's a constant reminder that you don't have it and your subconscious mind is registering a point of attraction of scarcity, not abundance.
It's time to turn off your "Nay Sayer"
It's uncanny how the stuff that I am not so attached to, pops into my life like popcorn. Case in point: I watch the movie Pitch Perfect with my daughter last night...love it...say "I wish I could see an Acapella competition in real life !"... an hour later my husband says "Hey, there's a bunch of Acapella competitions in Boston for the colleges in Jan. and Feb., wanna go?" The next afternoon we are driving to the beach and there are a bunch of cars parked by a church and the sign says...dum dum dum...."Acapella Concert".
How friggin' amazing huh? Nope, just my trusty friend the "genie in the sky" good old Law of Attraction answering my desire which had no attachment to an outcome.
Now money...that's a whole other story for almost all of us. We ain't so un-attached to the outcome with that one, so it's a lot slower to come, but let me tell ya, when I get unattached...BAM!... it flows in. Don't I just love that!
One phrase I use to chill the hell out about what I'm trying to manifest is "I'm in the process of _____". This works powerfully because it does not trigger the, "It's not working" demon because if you are" in the process", you can't get antsy if it's not here right here and now. It's OK that it's on it's way, but you also get to acknowledge all the little evidences of it starting to download into your reality, and get giddy because "Darn it all -you ARE in the process of___ !"
Get it? See how you can trick the mind to quiet down it's attachment to a specific outcome? If you expect a very specific thing, then your ego mind is always looking and seeing it as not there yet and saying, "It's not working, it's not working".
This is critical when you are trying to achieve goals. This is a great phrase when people ask you how you're doing in your business and "quite frankly you're doing very poorly on that goal, thank you very much", but you sure don't want to say that as that is not the message you want to send to the universe.
So that tiny but powerful phrase is not a lie and it still tells you, your friend, and the universe that "All is well...and it's all in process". And so it will be!
Mind games people...it's all about mind games.
